The cosmic week of May 5 - 12, 08 begins under
a new moon in Taurus, indicating that it may be time to try a new approach
to current situations; which may challenge the status quo of existing
values. This new moon also sits behind the scenes, suggesting that the
unconscious mind has the stage to manifest dreams into reality! Venus, the
CEO in charge of this cycle is also in Taurus, opening a doorway of grand
opportunities to align values with responsible choices and powerful
relationships that can transform those dreams into reality! The caveat of
this opportunity lies in the ability to relate to one's personal power as
a CEO of Life. Pluto will be retrograde until September, offering time to
contemplate on what that really means and whether one is ready for the
task at hand. Saturn, the other member of the trio and the actual CEO of
the cosmic group has just turned direct and is intent on rewarding those
who have done their homework as well as handing out detention slips to
those who have not.......... who know who you are! On a deeper note, this
is a powerful new moon cycle, as the solar energy moves into the crescent
phase, known and celebrated as Beltane; a highly energized period of
fertilizing dreams into manifestation!
On May 8th, the lunar energy also shifts into the crescent phase,
emphasizing a need to gather information, in relationship to the seeds
planted at the new phase; while standing up for oneself in the process.
Jupiter the planet of expansive opportunities, goes retrograde on May 9th,
symbolizing a 5 month period of reevaluating the financial details of big
projects that may not unfold until the first week of September.
On May 11, Mercury the planet that gathers information and delivers it,
goes into the shadow of its upcoming retrograde cycle on May 26. This is
the second retrograde cycle of Mercury in an air sign this year,
indicating that the lines of personal communication are likely to be
either tangled up, or disconnected until July 4, 08. So of course, on a
mundane daily level, the retrograde of Mercury can be a bit annoying, as
others either don't return calls, emails or just plain don't show up for
scheduled meetings. Not to mention that the advertising committee for the
corporation of Me, Myself and I is on vacation, leaving the CEO to figure
out what the heck has been going on since he has been on hiatus for the
last four months; leaving opportunist Jupiter in charge. You can bet that
fleet footed Mercury is not able to hang around and straighten out what
Jupiter has promised but can't deliver until later in the year!
Yet, on another level, it is an incredible opportunity to communicate with
one's unconscious mind and/or higher conscious mind through hypnosis and
dreams. That is where the true information lies that will help you to
maintain peace within and reduce what could be a stressful six weeks.
After all, there doesn't seem like a great deal l will be going on at the
office, other than the boss having a migraine; while he patiently waits
for order to be restored to the kingdom! Think of it in relationship to

having hissy fits, who is the one backstroking through recent
conversations and who is the one who drops the Presidential ball just
before they get their shot at the goal............
